Who believes Trump is not a crook ?

Don Jr. has been outed in his ethics (maybe criminal) lapse. I
heard it said that the participants in the meeting had lunch
with Donald Sr. the same day as the meeting. If this is true
(about the lunch) , who in the world believes that this meeting,
with a Russian lawyer, would not have been discussed ?
Someone who only listens to Sean Hannity ? Someone who lives
under a rock.
When you watch timeline videos of statements by Trump Jr. you
see what a fucking liar he's been about the meetings all along.
Then when you look at the timeline of the Russian meeting, then
the Wikileaks, timings seem suspiciously odd.

plus the short video clip they keep showing of 45 and the crazy
Russians..one brandishing a knife.. :o
Referencing The Godfather movie, some people are calling Trump
Jr. 'Fredo ...Don Corleone's inept son. :)

It's even deeper than it seems on the surface. The Russian
lawyer definitely works for the Russian government, and has been
siphoning million of dollars to lobbyists to get a Federal law
repealed. One that gives the US Attorney's office the power to
freeze the assets of foreign officials and business persons
shown to have committed human rights violations. It was
implemented after Russians detained, tortured and killed a
journalist that had exposed a huge fraud case involving high
ranking Russian officials and business oligarchs. Huge maounts
of assets in America were frozen and seized and it pissed Putin
off so much he canceled a program that allowed US citizens to
adopt Russian orphans.
What I get from it is that this Russian lawyer had some dirt on
Hillary and she was willing to trade it for a promise that Trump
Sr. would repeal the Sergei Magnitsky Act.
If this isn't something indictable, I don't know what is.

I have relatives that remind me of Invasion of the Body
Snatchers. They are drinking the right fringe cool aid... I
looked at a nephew's post earlier about Loretta Lynch approving
Natalaya What'sHerName's entry into the country. Then
reportedly she overstayed her time.
So they are buying the nonsense that Team Trump (whoever they
may be) has thrown out that it's somehow the fault of Team
Obama. I feel like I'm in some sort of alternate universe with
some of these people... I have an extended family vacation
coming up in the north Georgia mountains in a few weeks. Some
of us will have to avoid discussing politics. Like the plague.

I feel ya Dave. My sister and her husband, though educated
people, are political idiots. I don't talk politics with them at
all. My wife's brother is, and always has been a little to the
right of Attila The Hun. Has never voted for a democrat. My
niece that lives near Boston and her husband are card carrying
democrats, although he's not the complete Liberal package that
she is. My wife is also a card carrying democrat and liberal.
The Lad is the only person I can talk politics with, because
like me, he's equally suspicious of both sides.
The Trump Presidency has the possibility of being the most
corrupt Presidency since that of Warren G. Harding. Thing
is...If they get Trump out...We're stuck with Pence..A Bible
beater....
It's hard to find a lot of reason to hope...

interesting.

We're all white, so I think we're okay.
My wife and I both work in healthcare atm, and there are some
interesting changes going on. Doctors are going to be paid more
if you see them less, so they want to up vaccines and
prescriptions. Obama's admin was trying to fix Medicare for the
elderly, because the older and sicker they get, they have to pay
out of pocket and it's not cheap.
Blows my mind that we don't have universal healthcare like
Canada.

What? You don't want Doctors,Hospital Administrators, Big Pharma
executives, and Insurance executives to be wildly rich?
What the hell is the matter with you?
Are you a Socialist or something?
Funny...Only in the USA, and Dictatorships, will you find the
word "Socialism" spoken of as something evil. Dinkleberg lives
in a country with Universal healthcare. I've had discussions
with him about it and he said he had no problems with the
Canadian Healthcare system.
Here I go...But I think Doctors are wildly compensated.
Hospitals are wildly expensive places. Insurance is ridiculously
expensive. It was not always so. It was scarcely a 100 years ago
that Doctors were all met with immediate skepticism.
I have real problems with the entire way things work with
Doctors. You go to college for 4 years. then Med school for, what
4 more years? Then you do a 2 years residency..Then Bam, you're
a real doctor? With 2 years of real world experience you're
ready to hang up your shingle, start cutting people up?
I don't buy it. It takes roughly 10,000 hours of doing anything
to get good at it. I went to night school. 3 years. 3 nights a
week after working all day in an truck body plant, just to learn
the fundamentals of what I do every single day. When I finally
jumped into the field I took a 50% pay cut...And I wasn't any
good at it really for at least 2 years...That was home A/C work.
Then i jumped into Commercial Refrigeration and it was another 5
years before I felt I knew, kinda, what I was doing.
Point being...These people are getting paid way too much, way
too soon. The entire health system in this country is a giant
fraud. A giant ripoff. I'm not singing Bernie Sanders hymns
here, but the Old nutbag is on the right track as far as
healthcare is concerned. I think the whole Goddamn thing needs a
severe wringing out and dampening down as far as the dollars are
concerned.
I thought being a healer was a calling? Like the Ministry...And
yeah I'm just as angry about Megachurches as well. If it's a
calling, why do these people feel the need for mansions and
garages full of expensive cars?
Ok....Rant over...
What do you and your wife do in healthcare? If you feel like
sharing. Want to keep it private that's perfectly cool.

I grew up with family in the field. My wife got lumped in like I
did. We're not making a lot of money, either. I still want to
get my masters, but my new job won't change my schedule around.
So, I'll work here for a year and see what I can do. With my
degree and work ethic, they may promote me.
