It seems Paul was shot down because of a sponge cake that simply
wouldn't rise. :'(

I watched a season of that show. I bake cornbread, biscuits,
simple cakes and brownies and that's about it. I do not have the
chops for the stuff those folks create.
I once baked a Pineapple upside down cake, right side up.

I bet my Cinny would like that show (never seen it). She's one
hell of a good baker! No wonder I weigh 250lbs :o

I haven't baked anything since I was a kid.
I do, however, get baked once in a while. [emoji13]

I was watching it on a network called "Makeful", but it does
come on some PBS stations.
250 lbs...One of the most difficult things I ever did was quit
eating bread. [emoji20]
Otoh, it greatly contributed to my weight loss. [emoji106]

It comes on the PBS station here as well. Saturday afternoons.
Saturday mornings and afternoons are filled with PBS programs I
like. Cook's Country, America's Test Kitchen, Milk Street, Rick
Steve's Travel shows, Rudy Maxa's travel shows, Samantha brown's
travel shows. Globe Trekker.....See the connection? Food and
Travel...State based shows, texas Parks and Wildlife, Day
Tripper...Which is a show about travel in Texas. Then Austin
City limits on Saturday night. Well...Unless the wife is up. The
she has to watch Saturday night Live. I'm not such a fan anymore
of that, and usually head for the Bunker to monkey around with
music in one way or another.

Yeah, I never really got into SNL, either. My musical buddy
watches it regularly, though.
I'm not much for comedy shows anymore.
I like TV programming that tells me stuff, for the most part.

Me too Dan. Same with reading. I read non-fiction exclusively.
Movies are different. I prefer escapist shit in movies.
