Whadda ya put in yer Tuna salad?

....Or do ya even do tuna salad?
Tonight, I got in late from work, the Wife and The Lad had
already got themselves some mexican from the local mexican
joint. They called me, but I refuse Mexican food on a carry out
basis, even more if it's a couple of hours old. Asked the wife
to just boil me and egg. She did.
So i get home, the wife had already turned in and the lad was
deep in advanced calculus homework.
Take a shower...Then crack open a can of tuna. Chop up the egg
white and throw the yolk down the hatch. Chop up a couple of
sweet pickles, a stalk of celery, about a quarter of an onion.
Throw it all together in a bowl. Add some mayo and pickle juice.
Bam! I'm in business. Spread it out on some whole wheat toast.A
bottle of water and a few mini pretzels and I'm good.
Exciting shit I post here ain't it? ;D

Pretty much your recipe, but why ditch the yolk? Also, instead
of the sliced pickle, we use homemade sweet pickle relish. Add
lettuce (GOOD lettuce, not that iceberg crap) or a handful of
fresh sprouts. Cinny's homemade bread. Yeah, that's good eatin',
son.

I made tuna salad back in my younger days. Circa 30 years back.
I generally used boiled eggs (I never quite got the hang of
boiling them without having the egg stick to the shell). I
can't recall using anything besides mayo, egg and pickle relish.
Maybe I cut up a bell pepper, but I can't recall. My food prep
these days is mostly non-existant.

Drench them in cold water for a few minutes, the shell will pop

Yeah...First, put a tablespoon of table salt in the water before
boiling. Put the eggs in the water. Bring to a boil, then turn
off the heat, cover the pan/pot, and leave them alone for ten
minutes. Then put them in and ice water bath. let 'em cool, and
generally they'll come right out without a hitch.
