       What

...Is at the center of our universe?
       And where is it?
If the Big Bang theory is correct...And remember, if it's a
"Theory", that means it is not a law...Meaning uncertain..
But if it is, then in "Theory", the exact spot where that
extremely dense particle was when it exploded into everything we
know of, was. That is the point of origin.
       where was/is that?
This is the kind of shit that keeps me awake at might.

You're talking above my scientific pay grade. I do occasionally
attend lectures by people who study these things. The
advantage good science practice has is that it can adjust when
new evidence is presented. The solution is a sort of work in
progress. Religions seem to have all their conclusions worked
       out - it's part of God's plan.
As for what happened to create all this. I dunno. I do believe
that if/when we've fouled our cage (planet earth) badly enough ,
we may end up like those red tide fish kill offs that have
appeared on some of the Florida coasts. That would probably be
a good thing for the planet.

if indeed it is infinite, how can any point be anything but
center? in my twisted multiverse, center can be seen as
everywhere and nowhere... i hope that helps, but i have my
       suspicions...

Multiverse, that's string theory isn't it? The view that there
are an infinite number of Universes? Kind of stacked together
like a loaf of bread? (Hope it's whole wheat)
String theory is REALLY confusing shit. The whole concept that
all matter is really strings of atoms. vibrating furiously.
I named this thread accordingly I think.
I think about this stuff more at this time of year. Winter is
really the only time of year the night sky is really clear
       hereabouts.
Orion is also prominent at this time of year. Orion is really
the first constellation I became enamored with. I fell out of a
car when I was like 3. Broke my leg in 7 places. Ended up
essentially laid up for the best part of 2 years. We lived in
Oklahoma at the time, out in the country. The house had casement
windows, and one room had what was essentially what you'd
consider a plant window. I had difficulty sleeping and my Dad
fixed up a bed so I could lay in the window at night and had a
clear view of the night sky. I fixated on Orion, probably drove
my Mom and Dad a bit nuts asking about the stars, and in
       particular Orion.
One good thing about the layup...My Mother was diligent about
keeping me occupied and trying to keep me from feeling lonely.
I could read before I entered Kindergarten.
I still love looking at Orion, and the Cosmos in general.
       Fascinated by it.

well, stacked and layered and intertwined... i believe theyve
discivered something like 11 dimensions all layered and one of
the layers contains all the information contained in our present
       universe... trippy!

       You've heard/read something I have not then....My first question
would be...Why 11? An odd number....
I'm not sure I even buy into the multiverse concept, prolly cuz
my brain is a small one..I cannot even get a grasp on infinite.
If the universe has a beginning, then it must have an end...Know
what I mean? There's also the whole expansion/contraction thing
going on. There was a bang, and everything came from
it....Well....Where is it all going? In theory, the universe
       continues to expand....But eventually...I mean...Ain't there an
end to the real estate? Supposedly, once the energy that keeps
this whole time/space thing flowing every freely runs out, the
whole freakin' hairball of a mess is gonna come crashing back
       together.
       Then what? Another Big Bang?
