Name three things....

You would like to see happen in the New Year.
I'll go first...
1. I'd like for my wife's back injury to get a lot better and
possibly cause her no more problems at all.
2. I'd like The Lad's next semester to go as well as the last
one did.
3. I'd like for some sanity to return to D.C. However it can be
done. Compromise...Impeachment, I don't give a shit. Either get
that Moron out of office or for Congress to pull together and
blunt his power and straighten their shit out.

OK, I'll play. I gave this a slight degree of ponderance (is
that a word?).
1. I'd like to see some meaningful sincere efforts, here and
everywhere, to begin efforts to mitigate climate change. I'm 66
years old and I'm actually relieved that I'll be ageing out of
this mess we humans have created. But I do care about those who
come after me.
2. I'd like to see justice come to our political process. This
very well may be to dump Trump if he's been compromised and
playing ball with foreign adversaries - Russia , Saudi Arabia
etc. Included in the whole justice thing, I'd like to see voter
suppression and gerrymandering struck down thru democratic
means.
3. Lastly, I'd like to find a tasty little piano gig - in
public someplace were I can invite friends and family to drop
in. My gigs currently are all in assisted living facilities, and
while I do enjoy these I'd like to expand out a bit.

Earl Butz..The then Secretary of Agriculture...A pretty good
secretary, as far as bureaucrats go anyway...He was thought he
was telling a joke. Of course it was racist. He told it to Pat
Boone...'Ol White Bucks.
it got to the press and Butz was out of a job.
