playing love burn again this year. interestingly enough, one of
the offers i got last year was from the promoter that set us up
in one of the best locations of the venue, this year... im
assuming the prime location is the surprise he said was in the
works when he called a couple weeks ago? either way im happy
for a chance to reacquaint after all that happened last year...
time to get heavily meditated... ommmmmmm...

That's cool! I remember all the stuff you posted about the gigs.
Hopefully he'll bear in mind the constructive criticisms you
offered about the sound problems you had due to the electric
acts being too close to your presentation, which requires a good
deal of ambient space to really get the nuances out of your
music.
Getting back out there and doing what you do musically is just
what you need Bro. Get your spirit rebuilt as you rebuild your
terra world as well. The world has thrown a lot of shit your way
this last year. Your wife's medical issues, your eye issues, the
new little girl in your home life...and that Fucking Hurricane.
Destroyed your farm, the shelter.
You're rebuilding on a lot of fronts right now. But you have
that "Never say Die, Never give in" thing going on inside of
you. That's one of the many character traits you have that's
admirable. You've never expressed any self pity at all Dawg.
You're a Man and that's it.
Getting back to setting up that rack with your gongs and bells
and bowls and shit is going to be a great thing for you, and a
great thing for all that are there to witness it.

building my third pyramid gong stand. the second one doesnt
really count, being a quick and dirty, functional only type
thing... taking my time and refining a few things. the pipe is
1 & 1/4 metal conduit @ 10 /. 5/16 mild steel rod bent into a
circular jump ring. drilled the pipe and threaded them onto the
steel ring, set the spacing with 1/4 wire clamps allowing for
nylon cord to insulate metal from metal contact. rubber
stoppers fitted and secured with two 1 screws, sanded, wiped
down, ready for paint...

i grew up in west by god, virginia... place where we had to do
so much with so little for so long that now, most of us are
qualified to do absolutely anything with practically nothing at
all... you forgot electrician, carpenter, plumber, laborer,
ceo, wealth redistribution,( i can spend money like a boss!).
ditch digger, stall mucker, (i really am a stable genius),
equipment operator, vet tech, rec therapist,
horticulturist/botanist/mycologist/chemist, i play a few
instruments, stone sculptor, and armchair philosopher... i
lack one credit of having a degree in psych and one credit from
rn... i was a professional student, (still am) while i worked
my way through being s musician.

Did not know your birth state. I know the parts of it I traveled
through were beautiful....Until I got to the really depressed
looking coal towns.
I feel for those in poverty with the coal shutdowns. But I don't
think we need to bring coal back into the energy stream.
The State needs to capitalize on the States natural beauty
instead of further damaging it with strip mining.
