Sounds like you had a classic Thanksgiving. Good job AJ.
I went to my family's gathering, actually my sister's family.
She has 2 grown sons, each with a wife and daughter, and her
husband. Everything was pleasant. I left around 3:30 to play
(from 4-5) at one of my ALF (assisted living facility) that was
about 10 minutes away. My sister brought yeast rolls that were
some of the best I think I've ever had. They were Sister
Schubert's and I found them in the freezer section. Not a
regular part of my diet, but for special occasions, a great
addition.
I did no Black Friday shopping. Nothing I want to buy that I
could think of. I did buy one of those Amazon Fire HD 8 tablets
that are dirt cheap. They seem to have made it so it's super
easy to use Amazon content, but I'm not sure about outside
(Amazon) content. I tried and tried and finally, somehow, I
was able to load my ripped (Windows Media Player) CD library -
about 9 GB. But then when I tried to add a few more ripped CD's
later, I could never get it right. I think they've made it
difficult by design to keep users corralled in Amazon content.
Can't prove it though.
Wishing you and yours well.
