       The one year anny of this place. July the Fourth.
       wondering if that might be an appropriate time to admit it's
       dead as a doorknob in here...And time to call it a day and shut
       it down.
       it's not really even a matter of admitting it.....It's been dead
       for months. It's really just a note pad for the most part.
       Dave's the only one who checks in most days. While I check in
       everyday...It's a moot point really...Hell...I don't even add
       any content.
       I can't see it growing...At any point really. I could see
       keeping it open and going if there was even a small group of
       regular contributors with a family sense of things about it.
       This whole thing...It really sprung from Mark's "The
       Bar"...Which he abandoned when he went through whatever it was
       he went through...And then morphed into Nick's "Brain Vomit".
       That begat something truly magical...."The Vomiteers". And a
       truly cool place for quite a while.....
       Then things went south to an extent.....Not to the extent I
       thought they had in my mind though...At least not in retrospect.
       I think my ego took charge. I thought I could do a better job
       than Nick.
       I was wrong.
       While there was a temporary migration to here from Brain
       Vomit...It was short lived. I alienated Nick..Forever i guess.
       Mark never visited. Luke left angrily and has rebuffed the two
       attempts I made on another site to reach out.
       Bucky...Bucky...who I'd been friends with for a couple of
       years....Left and I haven't spoken to since...And yeah I know
       he's averse to criticism...And that's a character flaw I
       recognized in him a long time ago...I still loved the damn kid.
       I listened to every thing he ever put out, as i do all of you
       guys output. While his stuff is esoteric, to say the least, I
       always really truly admired the fact that he put it out anyway.
       Same with Dave. Same with Dinks. They throw their stuff out
       there...Devil may care if you like it or not. Devil may care if
       you even hear it. Like Papillon on the coconut raft, "I'm still
       here you Bastards!"
       Bieke..A consummate professional. He put the magic and polish on
       the Vomiteers stuff. He rarely graces these pages or HC anymore
       either.
       Dudley....While he is gift wherever he frequents, has a lot on
       his plate nowadays....And no time for either.
       So...I think those of you that really want to keep up with me
       have my email address...
       I think July 4 would be a good time to shut this place down...
