Blew my self out yesterday

Finally get off call...Had a relaxing night friday just hanging
out at home with the wife and the Lad. Saturday
though...Sunovabitch I blew my back out. Bought another garden
shed and me and the Lad knocked out the yard work, then spent
the rest of the day laying out the stones to rest it on.
Assembled it, then drilled and set the anchors in the stones for
it. I think that's where I fucked up...Bent over drilling the
holes for the anchors...Against the protestations from the Lad
that I should let him do it. I did relent and let him run the
impact driver to set the anchors in the shed though.
Anyway...now my lower back is killing me. I smell like Icy Hot
right now.
Bright side is now all the Lad's horticultural paraphernalia
is easier for him to get to and out of the main shed. He's
really gotten into plants over the last 6 months or so and has
amassed quite a collection of different types he has over the
house and backyard, which he cares for in what borders on
obsession. He's also kind of taken over the care of a lot of the
other plants and shrubs that were already here. Rather in the
fashion that Napoleon took over the care of Europe. Proclaiming
his superior knowledge in the care of said lifeforms vis-a-vi
his 2 year tutledge in the garden department at the local Home
Depot.
It's endearing really.....Earlier in the week, he put a plate
with a little honey on it to attract some flies, then snared
then with an old aquarium cleaning net I had in the shed. Why?
To feed his Venus Fly trap.......

You should probably learn your limitations. ;D Never stop being
active, but be a little easy on yourself.
