...But it unseasonably hot here. It does not usually get into
the high 90's here until late June or early July.
have the feeling it's going to be a long, hot summer.

the tropical storm would be hurricane dropped some badly needed
rain. we have averaged an inch per day with a couple days being
over twice that... it hasnt rained yet today, but it sure
looks like it will miss a good chance if it doesn’t... and
thats thunder now...

The Orlando area has had mostly the same, with little
variations. Then we've had news about sinkholes forming, not
specifically in Orlando, but withing maybe about 100 miles.
They say the rain saturated earth sometimes triggers them.
Hurricane season just began June 1st. Oh boy !

I feel ya....After Harvey a lot of folks down here are past
jittery.
I fear that we can expect only fiercer and more frequent storms,
and i'm afraid the balance point regarding our climate may have
already tipped past the point of recovery...At least in my
lifetime.
