I'm just trying to figure out..

...What exactly is going through Trump's head. He's agreed to
meet the Leader of North Korea, a guy from a country that
despite numerous agreements not to pursue nukes, did anyway.
Yet, against advice to the contrary from more level headed
people, is going to tear up the Iran deal.
Now, it's more than probable that Iran is secretly working on
nukes anyway. So perhaps the agreement loosens their purse
strings enough to allow more development. But it would seem that
chucking the deal entirely would simply give Iran a whole WTF
attitude to go whole hog in development.
It's hard to do anything in secret in today's world. I would
think that keeping the deal up would at least require them to do
it in the dark, therefore slowing it all down. If they want the
bomb, they'll get it anyway.
I just don't know what Trump is thinking and I fear he has the
focus of a chicken on this shit.

First of all, let me repeat my snarky take on our Prez. He's
nuanced. He's an idiot wrapped inside of an asshole - sort of
like a Tootsie Roll Pop. Second of all, much of what he says
means nothing. He bullshits and lies like you and I breathe in
and out. It's a natural function for him.
I think that France's Macron, Germany's Merkel and U.K.'s Boris
Johnson have all talked to him to try and convince him to stay
in the Iran deal. The fucking 1st Idiot (a.k.a. Orange Prez)
is against anything Obama put into place. Obama was thinking
about the future. The 1st Idiot thinks about what will appeal
to his base - right now. His base seems to only care about 1)
abortion and 2) undoing things like those liberal controls on
things like carcinogenic pollutants.
I say YES. Let's overturn those liberal regulations on
pollutants. I heard an NPR piece recently about a neurotoxin
that's going to be re-allowed in Salmon farming in Washington
state. I say Hell yeah ! Cancer and neurological maladies are
good for business ! Hospitals and cancer clinics will profit.
I could go on and on. From what I've gathered, responsible
parties say it's better to have the capability to monitor
Iranian activity.

And Big Orange did it. I think this has at least partially
something to do with pleasing Israel and the evangelical
Christians. Part of his base.

Seems like Michael Avanati droped a shoe yesterday with the news
about deposits into Michael Cohen's shell company. Maybe by
Russian related companies.

...Yeah, I'm fairly up to speed on this....I think Cohen is in a
shitpot full of trouble. Money laundering, obstruction...Whether
it will get tied to Trump is another matter legally though.
Apparently, opting out of the Iran deal is going to be a bad
deal for a lot of companies here as well as abroad. The energy
sector has been in the process of doing some big petro refits
for the aging Iranian refining sector. Boeing Aircraft stands to
lose 19 billion dollars in sales, the French and The Germans
have invested heavily in Iran since the sanctions got pulled
during Obama's time in office.
Y' know....If ya hit enough important people in the pocket
book...

oh well, as a euro dude, it's reassuring to read these comments
I just don't see any any political solution on the horizon
Trump is not going away any time soon, second term even
and Mueller is not going to prevent this
Dems could if they pull their act together
mid term will be good indicator
GOP is going up in the polls

I can't even imagine what we look like to people in Europe. Like
Asses I guess.
The midterm elections will say a lot about us.
Personally...The Dems are just as unsavory as the Gop...They are
just a bit more civilized.
