Been a busy, fun filled, utterly exhausting week

...But the Niece and her fam depart for home tomorrow. We've
been a million places, and had loads of fun. Gonna miss 'em.
Had forgotten how much fun 5 year olds can be, and how energetic
they are. Pretty much wore me out, but it's been a real happy
tired.

Children can be a joy - if one has the patience and energy.
There's a reason why people have children while they're young.
It's all part of nature's way.
I'm in West Memphis Arkansas. Worn out from hours in the car
driving in the rain.

reckon you're fast asleep by now Dave. On your way to NM and
your buddy. travel safe brotherman. Enjoy NM. You might consider
stopping on the other side of that bridge on your way back for
some killer BBQ chicken and some blues on Beale street!

An hour before I was supposed to leave to take fam to the
airport, the Lad calls from work to say his truck wouldn't
start. Great. Ran over to his work and picked him up so he could
say goodbye, dropped fam at airport..Kiss, Kiss, Hug, Hug.
Picked up the lad and went to check his truck out. From what it
was doing I figured the battery had smoked. No biggie. Pulled it
out, had it checked..To be sure it was bad. Buy a new one, pop
it in...all is good.
As the thread says, busy,fun,exhausting week...Back to the Salt
Mine tomorrow...Hope I'm not going back into nightmares.
Man I am already missing the niece, her Hubby...and that
adorable little girl...
