Had a sterling day...

...Picked up the Niece and Fam from the Airport this
morning..Plane was on time, no snags. My 6 year old Great Niece
is a delight. Had lunch at the Casa, with presents for the
little one opened to great delight.(Her Birthday was yesterday).
Then a family supper tonight and a chocolate cake I baked
yesterday. Candles that wouldn't blow out...Quite a surprize and
delight for the little one.
Exploration of the grounds and wonderment in the little one's
eyes at the Greenhouse. Wonderful conversations with the Niece
and Hubby about their respective careers in Medicine and Laser
science.....Music conversation with the Hubby...He's a player as
well....
Have them until Sunday...Happy Guy here...Love is good stuff.

Sounds like a wonderful experience with your extended family.
Enjoy it all.
I'll be departing Sat morning. Orlando FL to Santa Fe NM.
Hopefully only 7-8 hours per day on the road - mostly interstate
on the way. My friend Santa Fe Bob (formerly Dallas Bob) of
more than 40 years. You know how some old friends are friends
simply because you've known them all along. Bob and I have some
shared interests and have, over the years turned each other on
to certain things. Certain music and musicians, certain
artists, certain writers.

Sounds like a great vaca Dave. NM is one of my favorite states.
So much natural and unspoiled beauty. Take pics!
If I think about it...I'll share some of mine here from my trip
there with The Lad.
