       ...A month ago, I decided to actually get the paid version of
       Soundcloud for a few months. Not that I have that many plays...I
       don't...But I wanted to track the plays I got and be able to
       associate them with where they were being played from.
       It's been weird. My most popular track is, and always has been,
       my cover of The Rolling Stones "Sympathy for the Devil".  Seems
       like it gets the most play from Brazil and Spain. This week, all
       my play has been from California, Kentucky, and Connecticut, and
       all plays of my original tunes. None of these plays are
       generated from within Soundcloud...That is, no artists that are
       currently on Soundcloud.
       I've had plays from the Pacific rim countries, Germany, France,
       Norway.
       No plays from anywhere that I might know someone. It's kind of
       weird and fascinating all at the same time.

       It is indeed interesting.  I haven't checked my Soundcloud page
       in months.  I mostly use it for demo covers anyway.  Someone in
       an HC post complained about Soundcloud, as I recall, sometime
       back. I think he felt someone was ripping off his music.  Can't
       recall the specifics.

       I honestly think I'd feel honored if somebody ripped off
       something of mine.   ;D

       I have to confess I'm guarded.  I'd hate to try and write
       something catchy sounding and find that it was stolen.   Not
       likely, but one in a million things do happen sometimes.
