I just spilled stinking sewage all over my clothes
I smell like a rat's ass and about to go into a meeting ...
and I have to learn 15 jazz standards before Thursday
I don't even know any jazz chord ...

Mostly poop. Thinking about music a lot. Recorded a lot of stuff
but rejected every minute of it. I'm a good bit into a novel.
Wed is my wife's birthday and I have the day off to plot for
her.

Well...That sucks!
Jazz chords are just chords....But chords made intentionally
difficult by notorious Jazz musicians, all bent on making us
feel inferior.

I've been on Soundcloud 4 years and have a total of 2100 plays.
That's an average of 525 a year. My shit sucks....
My wife thinks I'm a great guitar player but a sub par lover.
Poor woman is wrong on both counts.
My kid thinks I'm a genius because I know how to thread the tape
on my reel to reel...He loves to just watch it run....He's
22....I don't know what up wid his head.

I think I was more taken aback by the fact that I have more
people listening when I do my weird stuff, but they often have
negative things to say, and when I do things more streamlined
like my covers album, they disregard it. I didn't record it for
more attention. It's just something I noticed. My most popular
album is a Jazz/Ambient project from when I was 18.
Still don't understand how someone can be a subpar lover. You
stick it in and out, exchange oral favors, and be eager to
please and it all falls into place. Sometimes it lasts an hour,
other times it's less than five minutes. Personally, I enjoy the
more spontaneous wrestling matches. The longer I last, the more
bored I get.

meanwhile I took a shower, sewage stink solved
the jazz standards are problematic, had concert tix yesterday
(Superorganism, cool little new internet band from UK, but the
Vomiteers came first) and did not practice much, I'm not going
to be fully prepared for Thursday as I have band practice
tonight and another band practice with our producer tomorrow,
and working all day. I will have to take the less is more
approach, with a bit of free jazz thrown in, basically I will
butcher them standards and try to keep my cool. I'll be wearing
my cool wool black slim fit suit and playing my 1959 Guild T50,
not decided which amp I'll take, something portable, walk in,
set-up, play and gtfo.
