thinking it may be time to turn the lights out...

...On this place. there is so very little activity.
While I treasure and hold very dear the human connections with
all of you....I feel I have simply failed in this endeavor. I
really think I made a huge mistake in bolting from Brain Vomit
and setting this place up. There has never really been the spark
that Brain Vomit had. No real, finished music has sprung from
collaboration...And not any participation except for Bucky's
offerings, which I gave poor service to.
I think I jumped ship too quickly on Brain Vomit and Evil
Imp....I should have ridden the storm out with him....That's
what Buddies do....I failed him in that regard. I will regret
that but once...But eternally.
I have all of your e-mail addresses, and i could keep up with
you all personally in that regard, and musically through the
various other outlets you utilize for your music.
This is all on me. I set this place up. I'm the only one
responsible for it's failure. But I do consider it a failure. A
personal failure.
I'll ruminate on this for a few days I guess....But I think the
path is rather obvious.

Whatever your decision, I wish you the best. It's been an odd
mix of people on these forums. Interesting disparate musical
tastes in the participants. The internet has come to give
practically everyone in the world a voice, but it's hard to
stand out among all the voices.
If you board up the Basement and lock the door, there's always
email. But, I wouldn't feel like a failure in all this if I
were you. Think of it as an experiment that simply didn't work
out. And that should not prevent you from trying a different
experiment in the future (not necessarily this same experiment).
If people failed to experiment for fear of failure , we
wouldn't have the Elon Musks of the world. Nor the John
Lennons. And so on and on.
I wish everyone well, whatever happens.

I don’t think you should close the place because it doesn’t hurt
anyone to keep online. So what if we don’t post every day?

build us a more advanced board if you're tired of createaforum.
We could even camp out in my Glen Campbell forum for kicks.

It's currently closed to posting and registration, but I could
do some rearranging and open a new section for us if it came to
us moving. I miss it sometimes. Had a war with the "official"
Glen Campbell forum moderators, and I made it my mission to make
that board legit to bother them.
