Just a practice recording of 2 mid-late 1960's rock songs:
"Proud Mary" and "In The Midnight Hour".

Just got time to listen...Sorry, I try to listen as soon as you
post something but I've been busy as the dickens here lately.
Your playing is top notch, as usual.
It's just, if Tina isn;t singin' it.
I thought you sounded good on Midnite Hour though.

Funny, my mind's ears revert to the Creedence Clearwater
version. Anyway, I continue to add to my song list. These 2
songs lend themselves to manipulation - changing the groove and
feel - if one wants to. Sometimes playing live, the spirit
moves one to change things up a bit.
I keep experimenting with my singing, searching for what seems
to work best to my ears.

Your ears are really the only ones that matter. Once you've
pleased yourself, you can be certain someone, somewhere will
find it pleasing as well.

I think maybe I've stumbled on a technique for my singing. I'm
experimenting with it now. I think that forever I've maybe
been holding my breath while singing. So I'm now trying a slow
expulsion of air (a.k. breathing out) as I sing.
Also (AJ), I came upon the idea of looking around for a Honda or
Toyota minivan. I have a Honda Fit and can manage a small haul,
but I'd like to be able to haul some equipment that wouldn't fit
comfortably in the Fit.
This is "Wouldn't It Be Loverly" followed by "It's All Over
Now" (circa 1963 Rolling Stones).

Thanks AJ. Interesting you notice the tempo of It's All Over
Now. I started it off a bit fast for comfort, then the thought
flashed thru my mind to make an effort to hang on and make it
work. Luckily it's a simple blues and I was indeed able.
Thanks for listening mister Jim.
