I don't know if you can call it chili
olive oil, onion, garlic, chili pepper, chili powder, paprika
powder, sliced tomato, red beans, minced beef, coriander
slow cooking for 2 hours
cool it down, put it in the fridge
heat it up following day, put some mozarella on top
sometimes I bake bread to go with it
:P
Well it sounds pretty close partner...I wouldn't go with
coriander myself, but to each his own.
and for that local flavor and deviate further from the real
deal, I pour is some sour beer (and a bit of sugar) or red wine
before I slowly heat it up
our youngest doesn't like cream so the mozarella is a nice
alternative

well
opened it up
it's an amp from 1963
one of the first generation transistor amps, has the big RCA
trannies
hand assembled, handmade circuit, the whole tone circuit is
point to point
RCA trannies still work phew, it's the drivers that are fried
found out they had been replaced before, and wrong ones were
used
this is not good
now sourcing replacement parts
and hopefully it will be an easy fix
the Schaller KV25 is a sexy little amp
surely you've heard of Schaller, they're still in business,
making universal guitar spares, pickups, bridges, tuners,
hardware, ... quality stuff, especially their bridges and tuners
in the sixties they also made amps, pedals, rack FX, reverb
tanks, ... Schaller also had a close cooperation with Farfisa
back then
anyway, my amp looks like this one
but it's dead Jim
so goal for the coming weeks, fix the darn thing

Ohhh...Didn't know it was THAT Schaller...I am familiar with
their hardware lines...Did not know they made amps though. Pics
of your repair journey would be cool...

Amp is fixed, did not take pictures
I found the schem of the Schaller KV-25 on a German site, well
it was the schem of a '68 KV-25, with reverb and tremolo
my amp is from 1963, without reverb and trem, but the power amp
section is the same, so with the schem
HTML http://schaller.forbi.net/Schaller_div.html#top
I could start looking for the problem.
Hmmm
???
Found an amp repair guy in the Netherlands who had done some
work on a similar Schaller KV-25
and he gave me some advice what could be the problem, and he was
right
one of the drivers crapped out, and it was actually an easy fix,
it was socketed, simply pull it out and replace it
My Schaller had matching RCA transistors, so I just swapped the
drivers, adjusted the output voltage according to the schem
and amp is working fine again
The amp repair guy has some pics up on his site, so here's a
link, it's the second pic, the drivers are those silver round
things in the middle, there's 3 of them, only one was faulty,
but I replaced all 3. My amp has a matched pair of RCA
transistors, both still functional, so I decided to keep those
