You can bet if it's up to the providers, it'll be less for more,
for the rest of us. It will also open the door for the providers
to slow down any thing they don't make as much money from.
Any time you hear Republicans talking about Deregulation, you
can depend on it being A) Dumping costs back on consumers B)
Allowing Corporations a free pass on things that were generally
put in place to protect the general public from all kinds of
Corporate abuse, or C) See A & B.

I saw a new item on Flipboard (a news app on my phone that
gathers stories from various news outlets). It said that Comcast
and another ISP (can't recall which) wanted Congress to
actually make the net neutrality REPEAL a law.
Funny/interesting since I'd been thinking that Congress might
vote to PRESERVE net neutrality given that it seems to be the
public will. Of course sensible background checks for gun
ownership is also the public will, and we know where that has
gone.
I just have trouble believing this will last in view of public
opinion. "This aggression will not stand, man" - the Dude
(Lebowski).

I think perhaps that you have hit on an as yet generally
undiscovered truth Dave.
[b]If you Fuck with the Internet, You fuck with the Millennials
Drive the cost of Internet and streaming up, perhaps the
Millennials will revolt. At the ballot box at least.
Clearly...Congress and the Executive branch care nothing about
Woodstock Generation.
The Midterm Elections of 2018 will determine, I believe once,
and for all, the direction, and future of this country.
Mind you...I'm not endorsing any party. Both parties are equally
corrupt. It's just that the robbery and blatant lies of the
party currently in power, as regards "Tax Reform" are simply too
much to bear. When you add a Trillion and a half dollars to the
Public debt in order to simply give tax breaks to wildly
profitable corporations...To throw nameless millions completely
out of the healthcare net.
It is I would say...Tyranny.
