My Guitars
By: Luke17 Date: June 24, 2017, 12:03 pm

Since I am technically challenged to do a 'tour' of my Music
Room like AJ and Bucky did on Brain Vomit, I thought I would (
if anyone is interested) post a guitar from my modest collection
here every so often...
Bucky mentioned he likes teles.
This is my 2006 MIM blondie with the noiseless pickups...
love this guy to death, loves me that spankin' sound that comes
out of it..
I played four at Guitar Center..two American Teles..two Hecho in
Mexico..this one rocked the most..loved the feel of the
neck..etc.
I could have sprung financially for the 'murican ones since I
was fiscally fat that year..but this one was the 'winnah!'

:o Oooh! Sweet! I jealous!
What I was nearly as equally impressed with was the collection
of antique boxes/luggage you've propped it against!
My wife has been collecting antique wooden boxes, trunks etc,
for decades now.
Do continue your parade of guitars, amps and gear, Please!
I wish everybody would do this! Me and Bucky have already done
videos of our stuff, I'd like to see everybody's gear!

yeah, I know Indigo Dave has quite a few lovely artifacts at his
place..always loved the pics he posts of his home...both
interior and exterior shots.
Very cool AJ that tu esposa collects old boxes, trunks
too...this is one of my faves..bought it a a farm auction..it
was used as a storage unit for Farm hands, ranch hands and the
Military all 'cross 'murica since the Spanish American
War..Miller Box Company.
This one had about 6-8 coats of lead paint on it that I hand
stripped..guys used to store their girlie mags, 1/2 pint of
whiskey, Old Spice, toothbrush, soap, letters from home etc.
I finally restored it last winter..please share it with your
wife AJ..
woukd love to see some of the stuff you two have..

I like the suitcases too. Both decorative and functional.
Seriously.

Here's a pic of my Old radio cabinet and my wife's pre-1900
English Lady's Hat box on top of it.
Several years ago I mounted a 10" Fender speaker in it. Can't
really describe the sound...Except it was so wonderful I
immediately removed the speaker.

I'm a pretty terrible photographer..And even worse at editing
pics.
here's another...I have no idea what the stone thing on top is.
Below it is a little box we found in a junk shop in The Smoky
Mountains. Below that is a box my Granpa bought at the Texas
Centennial in 1936. Below that is a Cigar box, obviously. Below
that is a Folk art box, presumably from before the turn of the
century,(The 20th). To one side is a hand made matchstick
holder, and to the other side, a top I made in woodshop in High
School. She's got stuff and piles like this all over the house.

Enough for today...Resizing these damn images to fit in here
gives me a headache.
Lol...You know...Maybe we should start a different thread with
this.."My Furnishings".......Lol :D

I can't get enough of old wooden items that were/are functional
and decorative..nice eclectic combo of pieces AJ and very
nicely displayed... :)
very cool, thanks for sharing...like you, I have them all
over..they all hold something..contents are marked in minute
print on the bottoms of the items.

Can't take any credit for the display...The wife's in charge of
all that...I got my music room/Office...You've seen it on the
video...That's the only room inside the house I have any control
over. She's the Boss in the rest of the house. I have a little
say in the kitchen...But not much. She'd have me hide the damn
coffee pot and the toaster if she had her way. If I wasn't the
chief cook here she'd have the kitchen looking like a damn
museum as well.
