Coming off there first Playoff season in years the newly renewed
Charlotte Hornets, came into this year with noting but promise
and high hope for the season. I for one was definitely excited
about Charlotte regaining it's Hornets name back as was many
other Hornets fans. Then with the draft picks the Hornets
selected in P.J. Hairston and Noah Vonleh coming into the mix
and newly acquired Free Agent Lance Stephenson to add to a core
that had minimum changes from there playoff team last year, this
hornets team was in for something special.
A couple of offseason moves went into place with the trade that
sent MKG to the Nets for Joe Johnson which for one I thought was
a pretty decent move for the Hornets to add scoring to there
core unit. The transactions I'm still scratching my head over is
the one that lead to Gerald Henderson being traded for Kyle
Singler...(just not sure why they made that move) and the
signing of a huge liability Andrew Bynum......haven't been the
biggest fan of these roster moves.
Fast forward to a very nice opening victory against the Bucks
things looked great, after that they played a very hard fought
game that resulted in a L against a very tough veteran team in
Memphis, everything rand downhill as they would lose there next
4 games going an underwhelming 1-5 to start the season. Al
Jefferson was off to a tremendously slow start and bad shooting
all around the team except for Lance Stephenson who has shot the
ball very well for the most part of the season and Kemba Walker
although struggling to shoot the ball well has played a very
good brand of basketball overall and has been another bright
spot for the team.
Still it's young in the year and I as well as many Hornets
faithful are really hoping they can turn things around real
soon. That does it for the first blog of the new season look out

I agree with most of this blog, except I think Andrew Bynum was
a decent transaction, they got him for next to nothing with a
team option so if he doesn't pan out they can cut ties but if he
does then they got a steal 2 likes 1 dislikes

Hornets are trash Bynum has been a
scrub since leaving LA. Lakers going to
put a beating on them tomorrow....Kobe
going to score 81 on them easily. [size=5pt]1 likes 5
