Jesus, the Kinsman Redeemer

the Messiah, Jesus also fulfilled all the requirements of
kinsman redeemer. (my comments in blue) :

became "family"-- God, born as a man, flesh, into the world. We
were the "slaves," in bondage to sin. Jesus would "buy us
back.")
2. He must be Free himself.
A slave was unable to purchase another slave. A Kinsman Redeemer
must be himself free of the debt and of the bondage which had
fallen on the one who was to be redeemed. (The debt--the wages
of sin is death--did not sit on our sinless Savior. He was,
indeed, free of the debt and bondage fallen upon mankind. Free
of the debt of sin.)
3. He must be able to Pay the Price.
If he did not have the necessary sum of money which was required
to pay the purchase price, then he would not be able to redeem
his relative. (Jesus could "pay the price" because He was the
fulfillment of the law. He was, Himself sinless. He was able
to pay the ransom price. He was able to pay a price He did not
owe.)
4. He must be Willing to pay the price.
It was not enough to have a kinsman who was able to accomplish
the work of redemption. He must also be willing to make the
sacrifice of paying the price. I imagine that there were a
number of slaves with rich uncles who just didn’t want to spend
the money to release their unfortunate relative from slavery.
(Jesus said, "I will go." He was willing. :) )

of Christ. God could not die for us because God cannot die. He
is eternal life and He is the source of all life. Only by being
born as a man and taking on human flesh could He experience

Jesus Christ was the only man who has ever been free from sin.
From the day that Adam sinned in the Garden of Eden to this day,
all have been under that bondage. Only Christ was qualified to
set us free.

Even if there had been another man who had been without sin, the
death of such a man would still be lacking the infinite merit to
pay for the sins of the whole world. At best, the sacrifice of a
finite man could only atone for the sins of a single man.
But the death of Christ was not the death of a mere man. It was
the death of an infinite being. It was the death of God in the
flesh. God died in our place. Only the death of such a One could
have been sufficient to save the world.
4. He was willing to pay the price.
This is the most amazing truth of all. God loved us enough to
send His Son to die in our place. When the venerable theologian,
Karl Barth, was asked what was the most profound truth that he
had ever learned, he replied:
Jesus loves me, this I know,
For the Bible tells me so.
This is the great message of the gospel. It is the message that
God’s love has triumphed over the work of Satan to set us free.

VERY GOOD
I HAVE THE RULES DOWN TO THREE
AND THEY ARE SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT
BUT ALONG THE SAME IDEA
1- MUST HAVE THE PRICE ;
2- MUST PAY THE PRICE ;
3- MUST BE OF KIN ;
AS WE LOOK AT #3
GOD AS GOD could not pay the price
looking deeper we see SATAN cannot be saved through the blood of
JESUS
the reason
NOT OF KIN

WHAT ABOUT THE CHILD ?
let us look at boaz and ruth ...................
the child of this union ; whose son is this?
by rule of the kinsman redeemer
this child does not belong to boaz the second husband ;
but instead
belongs to the first husband of ruth
JESUS kinsman redeems us ;
and like boaz ; he gets the bride
THUS; the two kingdoms northern and southern are the bride of
christ

strangely enough ; the first dead brother is ABEL
and that son is given after the flood { for the sake of keeping
the teachable lessons in order }
from the line of seth to noah to shem to abraham to isaac to
jacob
and when jacob divides the birth-rite promises between two of
his sons
Joseph recieves all but two and continues to lead the linage of
Seth
but Judah in recieving the other two is the kinsman redeemed
child given back to the linage of Abel
NOTE THE DIFFERENCE IN THE MOTHERS BETWEEN JOSEPH AND JUDAH
