       The story of Don Quixote

Don Quixote is a retired man in his fifties. He lives
in Spain, which is aligned with Rome in the Catholic religion
and belief system. However Don Quixote’s heart belongs to the
Knights of Chivalry and that puts him under an English
monastery. Having read every book he can find on the subject,
Don Quixote is determined to take on the adventure of a Knight’s
       Errand.
What is a Knight’s Errand? It is finding and protecting
       a descendant of Sarah, that
Who is said to be daughter of Mary Magdalene and Jesus of
Nazareth. The one that Don Quixote seeks to protect he has named
her Dulcinea. Don Quixote leaves his house and starts his quest.
He heads for an inn that he believes to be a castle in disguise.
He asks the landlord disguised knight} to dub him a knight. He
gets into a fight with muleteers who dare to try to take his
amour out of the water trough so they can water their mules
After the fight {for you must prove yourself worthy, before a
knight in order to become a knight yourself} the landlord dubs
Don Quixote a knight and sends him on his way.
While traveling on his quest he ends up in a fight with men of
“{Holy} Toledo”, for they dare to insult Dulcinea. Bruised badly
and unconscious he is taken back to his home. It is there that
his niece and a local barber take and burn most of the books on
chivalry. These two are not content with that for they also tell
Don Quixote that a wizard has taken them away. (A wizard such as
       Merlin.)
After recovering, Don Quixote enlists the help of a
neighbor, Sancho Panza. They escape the house and here begin the
famous adventure of attacking the windmills.Don Quixote believes
these to be ferocious giants, who are seeking the destruction of
Dulcinea, to whom Don Quixote has pledged his life to finding
and protecting this descendant of Sarah.
In time even Sancho is forced into trying to deceive Don
Quixote. Sancho is faced with the task of bringing Dulcinea to
Don Quixote. When Sancho is unable to do this he brings only 3
peasant girls, and tells Don Quixote “here she is, with her two
ladies in waiting” When Don Quixote doesn’t see Dulcinea Sancho
tries to tell him the same wizard who burned the books is
       deceiving his mind.
