Which countries are up and coming for the 2020s?

Thailand and Bali are yesterday's news as far as westerners are
concerned. Everyone that wants to visit those places has
already, and places like Vietnam, the Philippines and Burma are
now on the radar.
Personally I probably won't be spending much time in Asia this
winter for the first time in 18 years. A cold UK winter awaits
:(

Any questions about Baguio let me know, just met a girl who was
brought up there
Although I must say they say some pretty generalised stuff about
their towns, stuff you can find yourself on the internet

On second thoughts...........................screw that!
Heading for Singapore a month from now, then I want to see the
Philippines for a couple of weeks in December as it's supposed
to be big on Christmas. Manila first, then up to the highlands
and cool weather of Baguio city
HTML https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baguio#Climate
and then dropping a
few kilometers down to the coast of La Union
HTML https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/La_Union
which looks Krabi-ish.
Back to SG for Christmas and new year then 10 days in Vietnam to
see the highlands and cool weather of Dalat
HTML https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Da_Lat#Climate
then dropping off
the mountains to the coast of Nha Trang where the rainy season
will have finished and the climate looks perfect in January,
which shits on any cool season-lacking Thai beach
HTML https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nha_Trang#Climate
In mid February I'll leave base camp in SG again to head for
Bali for a couple of weeks, and then at the beginning of March
it's off to meet up with the mrs in Sydney to enjoy early autumn
for a month. Back to SG for the first two weeks of April then
back to the UK mid April just in time for mid spring :)

Nha Trang. Brand new 5* hotels for 1400 baht. 27 celcius in the
afternoon. Nowhere in Thailand comes close.

Yeah they are already playing Christmas carols in the malls,
Checked up on La Union & had it on good authority it is indeed a
hot place. Sagada was suggested as an alternative as its cooler.
Think you may have mentioned Sagada in the past as an option
I'm currently in Cebu City for a week doing some touristy stuff
& checking the place out. They've got the swimming with the
Whale Sharks on offer so I will likely check that out later in
the week
