       This story had been all over the news for the past week

       I'm unsure of whether the story itself is more interesting or
       the xenophobic reaction it has caused is. What I do know is,  if
       a Brit was kicked by a Chinese person in the UK, very few people
       would call for that person to be deported. In a less aggressive
       racial confrontation in London, the Chinese actually called the
       UK police to try to enforce their rights under Chinese law
