       What will Gaza look like a year from now

       After two years of daily covid news followed by 18 months of
       daily Ukraine news, something arguably worse than both is now
       filling headlines.
       I doubt that a million people have ever been displaced within 72
       hours before in the history of mankind. IMO only the atomic
       bombs of 1945 were a worse humanitarian event. The coastal
       Palestinians are now paying a very heavy toll for not ridding
       themselves of Hamas during the past decade and a half.

       The Jews need to turn the Gaza Strip into a giant Mediterranean
       resort, a big play zone for the well to do. The Palestinians can
       be sent to sanctuary cities in America, the democrat cities
       where they protected from deportation. The cities will turn even
       more ghetto-like where sleeping in tents in public parks,
       dealing in fentanyl and shitting in the streets become the norm

       ^ One thing I don't understand is, as it's right on the coast,
       why can't Brits etc be evacuated by sea, having to instead wait
       for the Egyptian border to open.
       A lot of children are paying the ultimate price for the
       miscalculations of their great grandparents in the same way the
       children of Dresden paid the ultimate price for the Nazi's
       miscalculation.
       In 1947 Israel accepted a two state solution but the Arabs
       rejected it, instead preferring one state, Palestine, that they
       could drive all Jews out of with the help of the surrounding
       Arab countries. That of course never happened, both sides
       started feeling entitled to the entire area, Israel got US
       firepower and misused it to build settlements in Arab areas, end
       the rest is history and current events.
