The ultimate health routine

I think I've discovered it. I'm half way through my knackering
90 minute once per week medium weights 4 sets x 20 reps full
body workout - having a 15 minute break now. I'll then eat as
much healthy carbs fats and proteins as I want for the next 2.5
days while I recover. For the following four days (until
breakfast time next Saturday) I'll be on a near zero carb keto
diet. Rinse and repeat next Saturday afternoon. I've been doing
it for five weeks and have lost 3 kilos with no loss of strength
- now down to 68, my ideal weight.
I see the problems with working out several times per week
being 1) regular injury from lack of recovery 2) time consuming
and boring 3) the focus seems to be on bulking

another 3. Afterwards I rest 20mins then do 25 reps situps x5
and upward inclined push ups the same. 5-7mins break between
reps

I avoid cardio today apart from a 3 minute run to the
supermarket this morning (then a 10 walk back with two heavy
bags) and the brisk cycle ride to and from the gym just now.
Lots of tennis and walking on most other days, weather
permitting, including walking to the office two miles away (lots
of umbrella use these unusually wet past few days).

Thanks for sharing.
As we age, we gotta workout and keep the blood moving.

I got chatting with a tattoed meathead in the gym yesterday.
About the same age as me. The sad cnut spent half his session
grunting under weights that were too heavy for him and the other
half looking in the mirror. Being mr big really is a life
consuming obsession for these look-at-me rugby player types.
A couple of nice chicks were being shown around as potential
customers. They didn't look impressed at him loudly dropping his
squat bar on the ground to seek attention and try to look like a
powerlifter despite the Don't Drop Weight sign right behind him.
They left without signing up.

Yes, there are often dopes in many BIG gyms, franchise gyms.
I ignore them.
"Big" doesn't mean shite, IMO.
They almost always are into "image" and cannot even do a body
weight pull up and are not athletic.
I am far fromathletic, but I'm lifting, doing Yoga, and taking
boxing lessons.
Love it.

I'm into efficiency. If I could half my muscle mass and still
keep the same strength and endurance then I would like a shot as
I'd be lots of kilos lighter and consequently much quicker
around the tennis court.
These dorks who go all out for size don't even realise that
double the muscle size means far less than double the strength.

Yeah, leaner is better for movement on the tennis court, IMO
(and many other things).

Creatine after every meal for me. I've stopped working on my
chicken legs because wankers generally have weak legs whatever.
Actually I'm virtually made of chicken. Chicken Surprise.
