       Mental cases in the gym

What is it with these freaks that intentionally crash weights in
the gym in pathetic attempts to get extra attention. As if the
tattoos and puffing themselves up & strutting round as if
       they're the Hulk isn't enough.
Nobody says anything to these weighs crashers because they don't
want a roid-raging barrage of abuse in response.

^the culprit appears to be short and fat, probably a mental
case, Pattaya is a magnet for them.

I walk past a gym to go swimming once or twice a week.
Everytime, there's some preppy wankers in there trying to be
       hardcore

Those guys are super insecure lol.
I don't see them much at my gym. I do mostly classes like Zumba,
Yoga and a few weightlifting classes called Barbell.
If I do go into a weight room, I use the women's only part of my
gym. It is a smaller area, compact, and easily accessible (right
off the change room). My gym is massive actually. It has 2
pools, coed weight room, four huge rooms for classes (yoga,
       spinning, personal training, coed classes).

They have similar mental abnormality to people who become
lawyers - convinced of their mental / physical superiority over
those around them, yet miserable & toxic in their endlessly
       forced oneupmanship quests.

       Are you jealous? lol
I think a lot of these guys want to look super macho and also
have lots of energy. Lifting too heavy of weights can harm you
in the end. My cousin put his back out over years of competitive
weight lifting and has never recovered fully. He is in chronic
pain and he thinks it is from the weight lifting he did when he
       was younger.

       Of?
I turned down a law degree course because I began to see what
the 'career' was all about and I didn't want to become a
       professional bullshitter bully and ****.
Likewise, I'm quite capable of lifting heavy weights and packing
on numerous kilos of protein slabs, but I have absolutely no
       motive to do so.

Not only that, it's utterly pointless as the same pretentious
effect can be achieved with medium weights and higher reps.
But it's far better to focus on overall athleticism. Medium
weights full-body 2-3 times per week combined with the below
routine 2-3 times per week (plus a load of tennis, hiking,
mountain biking and swimming) works fine for me.

If you want to test your physical health, work your way through
45 minutes of that non-stop. I bet most bodybuilder twats would
       struggle and give up.

yeah I agree, but some guys like the weights I guess. I never
see any heavy muscled guys in my yoga or zumba classes. I high
cardio endurance, but haven't picked up weights in awhile which
I want to do more of. I tone and strengthen my body doing yoga
though, it is a great way to tone, strengthen and build your
       flexibility.
