       The impressionist Mike Yarwood has died at the age of 82. He was
       brilliant and his impersonation of Harold Wilson was so good
       that in the end it seemed as though Harold Wilson was
       impersonating Mike Yarwood!
       Here's an entertaining documentary from nine years ago featuring
       many of his take offs and various interviews (the only sour note
       being Jimmy Savile in the light of later revelations about him.)
       It could serve as a tribute.

       A fellow Stopfordian, along with Joan Bakewell and a few other
       slebs whose names escape me for the moment. He was a supporter
       of Stockport County; well, I suppose someone had to be.

       David McCallum the Scottish born actor who took part in many
       films. The one I remember was "The Great Escape."
       He was the son of a musician who played the cello. He was 90
       years old and he died from natural causes

       I think he's probably best remembered for his role as special
       agent Ilya Kuryakin in the 1960's spy series The Man From
       U.N.C.L.E. alongside Robert Vaughn, another fine actor from
       those times.

       Famous English footballer, Bobby Charlton, died recently at the
       age of 86. I'm no fan of football (or sport in general) but I'm
       aware of his claim to fame as one of the greats of British
       football in the post-war years, especially in the winning 1966
       World Cup team against West Germany.

       administrations, has died at the age of 100.

       Wow, 100, amazing.  From what I remember, he was a clever man,
       wily and often controversial.

       Alistair Darling has died, aged only 70, which is not very old
       nowadays.
