I'm not sure about "all aspects of sexual activity from an early
age", but I do believe that the basics should be imparted as
soon as possible in a child's development. The rest, including
value judgments, can follow later. If not, they either learn
about them in a smutty sense from more knowing schoolmates or
else in their ignorance form their own notions, such as that
babies are made by couples kissing or they just start growing in
mummy's tummy at some point.
I had a girlfriend many years ago whose mother was so squeamish
about sexual matters that she didn't even refer to her
daughter's genitals by name (she just said "down there"
pointing), still less the male version, and didn't even tell her
about menstruation, which came as a shock when it started.
Some children do 'ave 'em...

I'd agree with that Gregory, it really does need to be age
appropriate.
The problem we have, unfortunately, is that children are often
exposed to sexual images/porn at a much earlier age than they
used to be, and often by their peers on a mobile phone. So
educators have one hell of a job balancing the competing demands
of making the education age appropriate whilst also addressing
and hopefully neutralising the adverse effects that porn
undoubtedly has on children. Teachers are very much between a
rock and a hard place on this issue.

Sorry I should have said we did it in an age appropriate way.
My mother was far too embarrassed to talk to my sisters and I
about anything of a sexual nature. She did a terrible job of
trying to explain me about periods, and left it to me to inform
my younger sisters, even though I was only in my early teens.

Leslie, why suddenly turn on me? I've never been personally
rude to you, on the contrary I've stuck up for you often but you
frequently dismiss the opinions of others as 'nonsense' and
won't enter into discussion. I've certainly never said anything
about 'dildos', nor seen one and doubt children are taught about
such things.
It is of interest to me and maybe to others, why you are so
interested in other people's sex lives. You speak about little
else. I am not intending to be rude here, it is just my
observation. With you it is 1. sex, 2. abortion, 3. personal
finances.
Neither do you show much interest in your fellow posters, when
did you last ask any of them how they are? Yet you are asked
and when you don't post for a while we all want to know that
Leslie is all right and are glad to see you back.
Life is more than sex, Leslie. The varieties of it are
naturally more interesting to young people who want to know
everything but it still doesn't mean they will try it all out.

Up until the first and second Trudeau ruined us , I thought we
were a great and magnificent nation. Now we are ruined, and must
start with the introduction of moral law all over again. It all
started with the senior Trudeau who ruined Quebec, and after
that ruined the rest of us with his Omnibus Bill. That was
followed, years later, by the introduction of 'suicide on
demand' by his son Justin. That man has lot to answer for when
he he is judged by God.

You talk a lot of nonsense.

Andrew posted this quote on the 2nd February and I think you
should read this again Leslie
"We can disagree and still love each other unless your
disagreement is rooted in my oppression and denial of my
humanity and right to exist.
James Baldwin"
[/quote]
Quite agree with James Baldwin.

Here is a letter actually written by St.Patrick to the soldiers
of an army of Coroticus that cruelly killed Patrick's newly
baptized Catholics.

I wonder if Leslie has ever had a letter and rosary sent to him
by a pope?
Our Down's Syndrome son, now 38, has. When I home schooled him
in the 80s and early 90s I got him to write letters to people he
had seen on TV in the hope they would reply, he has three scrap
books containing their letters. As one of the popes had the same
name as him I suggested he should write him a letter and that
was the result.

No, I haven't, but the letter to your son probably came from
Pope John Paul II, a very good Pope.
I do have a letter from a good Cardinal.
