Palm Sunday's 9:30 a.m. Mass was crowded as usual, with cars.
Some people were downstairs in the Church basement because of
overcrowding. One child with very strong lungs accompanied the
priest in most of his vocal administrations . No Latin hymn
during the communion. Lamb of God(repeated) and Lamb of God
grant us peace: was said in English and I responded in Latin.
Agnus Dei qui tollis pecata mundi miserere nobis (repeated) dona
nobis pacem. was answered by me in the dignified language of
2,000 years in a quiet voice - I don't want to upset the
Modernists too much. Pope St.Pius X warned us about Modernists,
and a previous Pope Leo XIII said he had a vision where the
devil said to him."In a hundred years I will destroy your
Church". Well under Francis he has come close. However, Pope Leo
composed a prayer to ward off the work of the devil which is
said in many churhes after Mass, including the weekday Mass I
       attend at All Saints Church.

Saint Margaret Clitheroe, Feast Day March 25. I was there in
York where she lived when I last visited England. My wife and I
were the only ones on the trip to go there,. I do believe.
"I do believe as the Catholic Church believeth and teacheth
me...and in that will I both live and die."
God’s Daughter, Margaret Clitheroe, by Gerard Manley Hopkins
       (1844 – 1889)
       God’s counsel columnar-severe┬░
But chaptered in the chief of bliss┬░
Had always doomed her down to this —
       Pressed to death . He plants the year;
The weighty weeks without hands grow,
Heaved drum on drum; but hands also
       Must deal with Margaret Clitheroe.
       2
       The very victim would prepare.
Like water soon to be sucked in
Will crisp itself or settle and spin┬░
So she: one sees that here and there
She mends the way she means to go.
The last thing Margaret’s fingers sew
Is a shroud for Margaret Clitheroe.
       3
The Christ-ed beauty of her mind
Her mould of features mated well.
She was admired. The spirit of hell
       Being to her virtue clinching-blind┬░
No wonder therefore was not slow
To the bargain of its hate to throw
       The body of Margaret Clitheroe.
       Fawning fawning crocodiles
Days and days came round about
       With tears to put her candle out;
They wound their winch of wicked smiles
To take her; while their tongues would go
God lighten your dark heart — but no,┬░
       Christ lived in Margaret Clitheroe.
She caught the crying of those Three,
The Immortals of the eternal ring,
       The Utterer, Uttered, Uttering,┬░
And witness in her place would she.
She not considered whether or no
She pleased the Queen and Council. So
To the death with Margaret Clitheroe!
       She was a woman upright, outright;
Her will was bent at God. For that
Word went she should be crushed out flat
Within her womb the child was quick.
Small matter of that then! Let him smother
And wreck in ruins of his mother
       Great Thecla, the plumed passionflower,
Next Mary mother of maid and nun,
*****And every saint of bloody hour And breath immortal thronged
that show; Heaven turned its starlight eyes below, To the murder
       of Margaret Clitheroe.
       She held her hands to, like in prayer;
They had them out and laid them wide
       (Just like Jesus crucified);
They brought their hundredweights to bear.┬░
       Jews killed Jesus long ago
God’s son; these (they did not know)
       God’s daughter Margaret Clitheroe.
When she felt the kill-weights crush
       She told His name times-over three;
I suffer this she said for Thee .
       After that in perfect hush
For a quarter of an hour or so
She was with the choke of woe. —
       It is over, Margaret Clitheroe.

This is the second day I have been to Mass, since the middle of
June. The first was on St.Anne de Beaupre's Day,(Last Friday).
       Today is Sunday.
I was greeted by Shaun, the cantor. and one lady smiled at me.
The Mass was the 8 am Mass which we don't normally attend, it is
a choice we make between the "screaming kids" Mass at 9;30
am.and the "old People's Mass" as 8 am.

According to Polonia Christiana, the statements that got Babiarz
in hot water were “A world without heaven, nations, and
religion. This is a vision of peace to be embraced by all. This
is the vision of communism, unfortunately.”
This Polish journalist was punished for speaking the truth. The
song "Imagine" is not appropriate as Communism , a world without
God will not lead to Happiness on earth.

After looking at church weekly bulletins of two churches
recently. I conclude that the ones who are in charge who have
their names published are not the ones who do the work. the
deacon I have never seen. nor have I ever seen the musical
director (both paid positions) while Shaun the cantor is not
mentioned once; yet he sings hymns at three weekend Masses.
The same goes for other church appointees, and it is the same
       the wprld over.

After yesterday's record breaking rain. the greatest Etobicoke
has ever had; we were tired when we got up this morning and
decided to go to the 9:30 Mass. not the 8 a.m. "Old Peoples
Mass". Fresh looking faces would be there but in decreasing
numbers due to the weather. That would cheer us up, after
cleaning the basement floor of a litre of rainfall that got in.
We were greeted by screaming kids - heard from our 'disabled'
parking spot. Never mind. Once inside all would be well. Men in
$1000 suits and their wives in expensive dresses crowded the
first 8 rows. We sat behind them.
It was a day for Baptisms ( of little babies ) and we had Five.
I repeat Five of them at one Mass.Too many for the aged priest
to handle. That was the Mass we chose. The iphones from
relatives were taking photographs which hindered the organizer
who had to get the child to the priest - for Baptism, and stop
relatives from walking to the altar region. Beats me how Father
got the names right. There was a problem of getting the candles
lit. This was solved when a giant of a man in a suit reached to
the top of an Easter candle and lit the small candles for all
five babies - held by parents of course - no the baby! who would
have been delighted. In fact the babies for Baptism were very
quiet. We did hear the screaming kids from elsewhere. In fact
they would not stop even after Mass when the Parish priest
explained how to receive Communion (the eucharist) as judging by
what happened in the past few are seen again . You won't see
these people again until it is time to register for Catholic
School. one with higher than normal academic standards.
It was a cacophony from start to finish and we will not attend
       the 9:30 again.
All the smiling mothers had a good time.

Quiet and peaceful this Sunday at 8.a.m. No screaming kids. The
second priest who gave the homily was from Jamaica. There was a
Collection that I didn't have an envelope for , or even know
about. We gave just the same.

I have some good news to report today. Father Nino Cavoti who
was expelled from the Church a few years ago and who was our
parish priest is returning to our Church for the rest of the
       summer.
The Archbishop of Toronto made a statement saying :He was taken
to New York by the Salesian Fathers for trial. The charges
against him were found to be frivolous.
       Very good news
