KING TRUDEAU
In yesterday's National Post ,Diane Francis writes , telling the
government of Trudeau, to do your bloody job, and follow the US
and the UK who know what they are doing. They patrol the
Canadian Arctic for us (and their own safety of course) as we
cannot govern. Trudeau has spent billions in consultation fees
of our taxpayers money in doing this, as his government has no
will or ability to do what we elected them for. Diane Francis
quotes dollar figures and names consultation companies that
become rich in Canada . Our leader Trudeau acts like a bad king
in a monarchy, in my view.

Hullo again, Leslie. I am not too sure that the UK does know
how to do a lot of things at the moment, however I thank you for
quoting the flattering comment :-). As for the USA, I'll leave
that to Bev. It is so vast with completely different, often
opposing, cultures depending on which state, eg attitudes are
different in New York to those in Florida or Atlanta, Georgia.
Confusing for a 'small islander' like myself but - interesting.

I'm not sure what the columnist is complaining about, but if
it's "patrolling borders," Republicans complain about the same
thing here. I personally think they do this to frighten their
voters that we are being invaded by people the drug cartels are
using to transport fentanyl into the US. A recent NPR report
stated that 80% of the fentanyl coming into the US from Mexico
is first shipped to Mexico by China and then transported over by
US citizens who are in cahoots with the Mexican drug cartels.
If that report is true, no wall in the world would stop this,
and if they are constantly going after actual immigrants
desperately fleeing their countries, they are not only wasting
tax-payers money, they are ignoring the real fentanyl
trafficking that everyone is blaming on these poor people.

Is Fentanyl the 'in' illegal drug in the USA at the moment, Bev?
It is extremely potent as an analgesic, stronger than heroin.
It would terrify me unless I was terminally ill (then I'd
probably take any analgesic, would enjoy the mood and sleep). I
haven't heard of any great trafficking of Fentanyl illegally in
the UK but it probably does happen in some areas.
Over here Methadone is, and has been for years, widely sold on
the black market. It is prescribed for heroin addicts who want
to give up but many go on to sell it. If one becomes addicted
to Methadone it is more difficult to get off than
heroin/morphine and, again, very potent.

Diane Francis wrote the following article for quite a few
newspapers not just the National Post.It is called "Trudeau's
consultocracy". I don't believe "patrolling borders" of our
arctic is anything to do with immigration Bev,although she
writes a lot about immigration. Rather, it is about keeping the
Russians at bay.

The public service union and the union of tax administrators are
on strike as I pointed out yesterday. Tax auditors are not on
strike who are AUs and in PIPSC, some PM auditors doing small
jobs will be on strike. I wonder how this will work out in the
office when some staff are 'out' and some are 'in' for work. It
could cause resentment among the staff. I would think though
that AU auditors would have been told to get a couple of big
audits together and don't come into the office if you can help
it. Work on the taxpayers premises or at home.

Fentanyl is being trafficked by mainly US drug cartel lackies
from Mexico, which allows access from China—the main
manufacturer—into the U.S. one problem comes from pill pressers
putting fentanyl into everything. Fentanyl Overdoses are on the
rise with people taking it unawares. One article I read said the
illegal pill market is disguising fentanyl in order to create
addiction which creates a growing market. The pharmaceutical
industry began this when they marketed and pushed OxyContin as a
safe drug causing many Americans to become addicted. A lot of
today’s illegal customers are addicts who can no longer get
OxyContin legally after lawsuits crippled big Pharma. It’s an
awful mess that really started legally here.
