Well, the Mayor, John Tory of Toronto , has not officially
resigned yet. He has to manage his budget today. When or not he
will resign becomes a mystery. I think he should stay on.

One was shot down over Lake Huron, in Canada I believe. Shoot
them all down as soon as you see them.[attach=1]

I haven't seen anybody carrying a gun since I came here.Maybe in
Texas it is different. I don't know but my youngest grandson is
arriving here on Monday next for four days.I will ask him. He is
coming here to enjoy Bradenton beach, and I hope, Anna Marie
Island and Holmes beach. Which must be among the most naturally
beautiful in America.
The only Canadian thing about this post is that we are Canadian.

Following on from what we were discussing yesterday about Nicola
Sturgeon on another thread, I thought you might find this
interesting, Leslie, as your prime minister is mentioned:

I haven't seen anyone open carrying a gun either, and I live
here. I do wish assault weapons would be made illegal again.
There's a big difference between "guns" and semi-automatic
weapons that can kill or injure so many people in seconds. But,
the NRA is a powerful big-money lobby, and the people never have
a voice stronger than that.

The CBC Toronto news centre is saying three city councillors are
wanting more information about this giant subway development
project.They think it is secret.
Well, they should ask my grandson about it. It is a 6.1 billion
dollar project forecast to last over 20 years and includes seven
new subway station along Queen Street. Two companies, he knows
are involved. The company he is now working for and another one.
He passed his fourth interview with the same company for the
same job on Tuesday from here. On Monday because of security
issues his interview was cancelled. That was because he was here
and not in Texas.
He is happy about that.

All the figures I have given are public knowledge, announced
last year. Me thinks the councillors should do their homework.

Just been reading up about the Yukon, Canada's smallest and most
Westerly territory, in connection with a news item: beautiful
(the towns as well as the countryside), but too damn cold. it
has a sub-arctic climate, is very sparsely populated, and
borders Alaska. The capital, Whitehorse, contains about 70% of
the entire population, and only has about one-third of the
population of Hemel Hempstead.
