It's really a process of elimination. Here's a website you can
practice on over and over that is not affiliated with the NYT's
Wordle.

Thanks Bev but I'm just not attracted to the game. I'll stay
with my crosswords, etc. - much more ample and many more words
to play around with!

I too enjoy a daily crossword (and two on Sunday.) I avoided
Wordle for a long while after trying it once. I too just didn't
get it, but then my oldest son asked me to join his small group.
Once I got the hang of it, I really liked it. Now, I'm hooked.

I do get it, but I'm just not keen on the format. Oh, and my
daily crossword ration is normally two or three (the benefits of
being a retired person with lots of spare time! :D )

English ones on The Telegraph site, which has several crosswords
daily, and a Spanish one on my local paper here, La Vanguardia.
