I should add that occurred infrequently after I retired. I was
the Rep in the union for Excise Tax auditors. It was a very
stressful period in my life as I was instrumental in putting
that union local into trusteeship, because of certain
irregularities.
Some liked me for it ,others hated me for it.Such is life.

I have ordered a wheelchair from Air Canada, but I would rather
walk while in Tampa. In Pearson, YYZ airport, Canada's biggest
airport, I will take a wheel chair as you get speedy service if
disabled as I am officially.

Something to look forward to. :D

I'm sure Dr. Strangelove would agree:

It's exactly 50 years ago today since the album The Dark Side Of
The Moon by Pink Floyd was released, certainly their best one in
my opinion. I remember driving down to Liverpool in my old,
green Morris Minor with my then girl-friend, Mary, to see them
perform the album, plus other songs, at the Royal Court theatre.
A couple of pints in the famed Philharmonic ('the Phil') pub
nicely rounded off the visit.

Today is March 1st! I gave up drinking the very moderate amount
of alcohol I used to drink in order to support my husband who
can't drink alcohol nowadays due to the medication he is on, I
haven't missed it.

You're behind The Times, Val! Come out - we know you're hiding
there!!

Anyway, don't worry - I swore not to drink alcohol on those
three days, taking the oath on an empty bottle of single malt...

[/quote]Firstly, Val was joking.
Secondly, I think we all know by now of your teetotalism, as you
never miss an opportunity to tell us.

LOL Val :D
I'm not a teetotaler, but I have recently given up my nightly
wine. It wasn't until I started wearing a sports watch that I
noticed a correlation between the stress monitor and wine. I
get what we call the fire graph. My oldest son does too, but he
doesn't with beer. I'll still have the occasional glass with
friends if I feel like it, as I do love it.
Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon reminds me of the time a
friend played this at a sleep over. I distinctly remember
feeling both daring and nervous as my parents, who were quickly
immersing themselves in the Evangelical world (called
Charismatic then), were very strict about no "evil" music. Pink
Floyd was definitely high on the list. :D
