My Abby turns 26 in a few days. Can't believe it. She's a
radiographer now and mainly does MRIs at the hospital downtown.
       I'm so proud of her.
The others are still in school. The youngest two will be 15 this
       year.
Fifteen and married is young, Roses. My grandmother was
fourteen, but that wasn't as uncommon in her day. She didn't
have my mother (her first child) until she was 29.

Sorry I didn't make it clear, I met my husband to be when I was
       15, I didn't marry him until I was 19 and he was 22.

This morning as I went out of the front door for my daily walk
there was a toad sitting just by the doorstep. I was very
surprised to it, I can't remember when I last saw one, or if I
have ever seen one in person before. I expected it to run away
but it didn't move. I touched it gently with my foot, but it
still didn't move. I thought it must be dead, so I decided I
would deal with it when I got back from my walk. However, it was
nowhere to be seen then, which was strange. Maybe it was alive
all along and went of its own free will, or was removed by a
       bird or cat.

What was the temperature there? I know here, when the temps get
colder overnight, the amphibians go into a kind hibernation
state. This might have been the case, and as the sun warmed
things, he got the energy to move along.

       It wasn't cold, about 10C.

That might be cold enough, though. I read in one site that
British amphibians hibernate until February. So, they're
       probably just rousing there.

       a flight to Austin Tx.
Hopefully I can find Hwy 275 and get there.in one piece
Please hold all religious digs, offending remarks and wicked
thoughts until I get back. I will be delighted to read them :)

Leslie, if you drive I-4 from Tampa to Orlando, you might find
the traffic quite changed. My trips over there have lengthened
       by a good twenty minutes--if I'm lucky.
