       We don't have any pets at all, as we used to be snowbirds and
       moved south in the winter and didn't want to take them with us,
       besides it is  unfair to dogs for them to go outside in Canada
       to do their business when it is minus 20 C.
       I prefer dogs to cats but my wife wants no pets. My son brings a
       couple of his retired greyhounds over for us to see
       occasionally, they are very friendly dogs. After Thanksgiving
       dinner yesterday here he had to go home to look after the horses
       and dogs and (a cat). His wife was celebrating Thanksgiving with
       her mother, who lives alone.

       Yes, pets bring big love and big joy but also big
       responsibility. I thought very carefully before getting this
       kitten.
