A fitting tribute. It's marvellous that Leslie lived to 91, I
remember him saying he hoped to make 90 so he was an
over-achiever there. I look forward to seeing him again. Love to
Mary, Anne-Carol, James and Erika and Leslie's grandchildren,
James and Matthew.

I had post today! That in itself was a surprise, being a
Sunday. However an even better surprise was a card from Leslie's
son, James, thanking me for my card and words which I sent after
Leslie died. I deliberately did not put my address in it because
I didn't want any of the family to feel obliged to thank me!
However I did scribble something on the back of the envelope, in
initials, in case my card went astray. I presumed they would
open the envelope and throw it away. However James had copied
what I'd scribbled :-), eg L F, 39 GL 10 LR postcode uk. Wow
to the post office! Apart from expressing appreciation on
behalf of his mother and the rest, he said how much they miss
Leslie's talks and points of view on many subjects which he
probably shared with me too. Bless. That was nice.

That's the magic of postcodes - all you need is the house number
and the pc, and Royal Mail can find you.

Yes, I have great respect for Royal Mail but when something is
sent from abroad, you never know. I wouldn't have thought any
more of it, didn't expect to hear. It was nice, James sent two
cards, one with a brief bio of Leslie and a prayer, and one a
'thank you', Both had pictures of Leslie.
