Leslie,
Hope you are well and just taking a break.
If you come back before this forum closes, follow this link to a
Thaddeans group on Facebook. So far, quite a few of old Sparrows
and St Thad’s people have joined.

Hi gwin, nice idea but if this is all coming to an end next
month, who will see it?
I can't help feeling sad, small though this forum was and old
though many of us are, I wish we had fought for it a bit more.
It's like a ghost town now.

Lesley has accepted a friend request from me on facebook! It is
definitely him, he has photos. I have responded on his page,
carefully, just in case it isn't him but one of his relatives. I
would have thought he'd have come on here, we'll have to wait
and see what happens.

Leslie's page has now turned into someone else's - Jean Luc
Sharples. He has the same 'friends' as Leslie, including me, but
has said nothing so far. I have no idea who he is but I think it
is unlikely we will hear from Leslie. If Jean Luc contacts me,
I'll let you know.
Later: Jean Luc came back, said Leslie was very ill. i asked
what relation he was and he said he was Leslie's brother. We all
know his brother died a while back. This is an imposter who has
hacked into the account, now he has me on his list. I am going
to block him. I thought it was odd, who would Leslie have in his
family by the name of Jean Luc anyway? The guy obviously saw
Leslie was in Canada and assumed a French name. Sheesh,
facebook is the pits sometimes, at least he doesn't know my real
name.

Same here now, Andrew. I did join but after the Jean Luc (he has
disappeared btw, thankfully), business a few things went wrong
on facebook and I had to reset everything. Now I can't get on
to the Thaddewans group, I can other groups to which I belong. I
thought perhaps I was no longer wanted, who knows? Perhaps it
is meant to be.
It is so nice that you have both come on here. We're till open
until the end of this month - new year's eve. I hope others look
in for the next month.

Just coming in, but I wonder if the reason the link only takes
one to FB has to do with the Thaddeans group being closed and
private (invitation only thing.)
