Germany’s government collapses

Germany’s coalition has collapsed. It’s not good news but I’m
not unduly worried as I’m sure they will restore stability. As
someone from a country with Coalition government, i think all
nations should adopt this model as in my view it is the most
democratic.

Indeed but it consisted of only two parties, the dominant
Conservatives and the small kingmaker LibDems that now barely
exists. By contrast, the current Dutch coalition is made up of
the far right PVV, the long-established conservative VVD, the
new Farmer’s Party, which is a grass roots party, and a centrist
party. This creates a better and more nuanced representation of
the population, and also contains any risk of overly extreme
policies being implemented.
