A very long time indeed. I remember you from the BBC, Bev;
Leslie, Rose Mary (Tangnefedd), gwinnie, Sally and Tim, the late
LynneD (sweet Caroline), Sweet Peace (Sue Bingham), and many
others. Greg was not a BBC poster, neither was Steve though he
may have joined later. It was really good on there.
I keep thinking about Greg, and Roser. Thank you for sending the
card from us all, as I said earlier I no longer have his
address. There's not much else we can do.

Your last two posts Lyn were beautifully written and bring back
happy memories of the BBC forum and the people involved. We took
things seriously in those days, especially when writing about
the nature of God, and the evidence for His existence. May
Gregory rest in peace.

Evening all, I have a few questions regarding our meeting up
online.
I had a health incident in 2015 which has destroyed some of my
long time memories and is still effecting my short time memory,
Im fairly sure I posted about this sometime in the past, anyway.
Can anyone here remember when I first joined this group now
known as Thaddeans

Val, the one thing I can remember that might allow for a
balk-park date is your message to me about a PC hacking problem
I was having before I changed from PC to Mac. I had had an error
saying I did not have administrative permission to my own
computer, and I had nearly finished my graduate thesis but
couldn’t access it. A computer-repair guy found evidence of
someone in close proximity (his words) who had gained access to
my computer and was receiving copies of my documents, emails,
video, and pictures. Whoever it was first blocked my access to
the forum we were on, which was the one I went on most
regularly. They finally restricted all access. (You had
suggested via a message that the hacker might not be in close
proximity.) That would have been 2003-2004. So, at least 20
years. As a follow up, I’ve never had the issue again with the
Mac. Thank goodness!

It is appropriate on this All Saints day, that I asked at the
church of Our Lady of Sorrows, that a Mass be prayed for the
soul of Gregory Brassington, I have a Mass card for Gregory on
behalf of the Thaddeans,
May he rest in peace.

I’m sure Greg would so appreciate it, Leslie.
I was thinking about him today and realized just how much a part
of my thinking life he has been for years. He’s left quite a
void here as he was so well read and so informed politically,
philosophically, and musically. :’(
