Good afternoon everyone.
Well it is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have to
inform you of the passing of our long-time friend and fellow
Thaddean Gregory Brassington.
Greg died peacefully at home without any other symptom on the
day of his final post here on Thaddeans on 29th September.
Sleep well old friend

Thank you, Val.
I guessed that was so, don't quite know how I feel at the
moment, cannot find the words. Thank goodness it was peaceful
and he was at home.
Thomas More said and I am saying for Greg :
"Pray for me as I will for thee, that we may merrily meet in
Heaven".

How very sad. :( I thought that the news wouldn't be good where
Greg was concerned. Poor Rosa.

I too am wondering about Roser, thankfully she has some extended
family, whom she sees, if she needs help but she and Greg were
together a long time. It's hard.
It is good that Greg didn't have to go back into hospital.

Very sad news. I'd known him online, on various forums starting
with Premier, for just over 20 years.

I wish now I had not sent my card. Hopefully, Roser can easily
disregard my request for news on Greg as she surely is
overwhelmed with all that follows. I’ll send out a condolence
card today.
Leslie, you’re so right. Greg was a great asset to this forum
and will be greatly missed.
If you can read this, Greg, Que Dios te acompañe. :’(

Oh Bev, I’m sure Roser will be heartened to know people far and
wide cared dearly about Greg. If you haven’t sent your card yet,
please add my name. I met Greg many years ago with my husband,
when we holidayed in Barcelona. We spent a couple of very
enjoyable afternoons visiting some of his favourite spots. We
had our ups and downs over the years but always more ups, and
indeed that is where we settled! I shall miss him. Rest in
peace, dear friend. Marianne

Thanks, gwinnie.
I sent a condolence card to Roser and represented us all. I
mentioned that Val had informed us via a thread about Greg, and
that we were sharing our thoughts and grief over his passing.
Not at all to eclipse others who want to send a card, but I felt
she would be more comforted to hear how we are all remembering
him.
I’m not sure, but I believe it was 1999 or 2000 when I first
logged into the Beeb Christian forum where I first met Sally who
then invited me to Sparrows. I don’t recall if Greg was a member
then. If so, it’s been around twenty-five years that we have
been forum acquaintances. Long time…
