It seems there will be an investigation into why the yacht sank.
If a design fault is found it won't bring any of the seven
people who died back but could mean other yachts will be deemed
unsafe and recalled, saving further lives.

That really did bring a lump to my throat. Goodness knows how
her mother and sister are going to get over this, or at least
       come to terms with it.

Indeed, and what they must be going through now in the immediate
aftermath of the confirmed deaths is unimaginable. Mrs. Lynch
must be wishing she had drowned as well and Hannah's sister Esme
now faces the awful loneliness of life without her sister. We'll
never know how things transpired in those last few minutes
(although there must have been frantic panic) but seven died
       while fifteen survived.

More about Hannah from this morning's Telegraph:
"Hannah Lynch had promised her parents she would save them if
anything happened while they were swimming, a crew member of the
superyacht Bayesian has revealed. Sasha Murray, the yacht’s
chief stewardess, issued an emotional statement speaking of the
teenager’s “deep and loving” connection with her father and with
her mother, Angela Bacares. Ms Murray, the first survivor of the
sinking to comment publicly, said: “Those who knew her will know
that Hannah was a diamond in a sea of stars. Bright, beautiful
and always shining. What most people may not have seen was the
extraordinarily strong, deep and loving relationship she shared
with her parents, whom she adored more than anything."
This just gets sadder and sadder...
BBC article today. It seems several errors, including
       negligence, may have been involved:

Yes, there is going to be an investigation.
The story is still all over the media and it was on the TV news
       yesterday evening.
Everyone spoke well of Hannah and of Mike Lynch.
