Coming from someone who has more or less admitted that he
believes what he wants to believe, irrespective of established

I thought they would as they were only hooligans who protested
originally.. These were outnumbered by ordinary Brits who are
not hooligans. Good for them.

Don't bother, Steve. Nothing will change there.
There are plenty of rioters and supporters on facebook at the
moment, quite jubilant too. They are also people entrenched in
their views who do not listen to anyone who differs in opinion.
It's good that so many people came out to peacefully protest
against them.

The gloves are off. Lyn deserves it. So does Steve for a very
acrimonious post to me. It came out of the blue. You should all
understand that there are two sides of opinion in most
discussions.
Everything I have written was an expression of my feelings and
thoughts about a subject. And in this case, (hooligan) at least
I was proved correct, the Right Wing, assumptions are just that.
A media blitz to put names on things they don't understand as
they have their own axe to grind.

Two headlines from today's Telegraph:
1. "Counter-protesters should stay home to reduce strain on
police", says minister.
Is that really wise? I mean, isn't it going to encourage the
racist protesters to come out in force again? Looks like a case
of damned if you do, damned if you don't.
2. "Jailed far-Right rioters could be released early."
The explanation given is the problem of overcrowding, but
releasing these thugs onto the street again hardly seems like a
valid solution. If there are too many in prison, let them suffer
for a while; they deserve it. Again, damned if you do...
