Quite right to,, but I think they mean the likes of Facebook, X
and TikTok, not little forums like this.

I got the impression it was any forum that allowed people to
post these sort evil trash, better to be safe rather than sorry,
imo.

As Lyn posted, and so in Ireland we have some migrants of the
economic kind but they will eventually be sent home, most of the
migrants here are seeking full or part time work and want to pay
their way, our emmigrants are doctors, laywers, teachers, public
transport workers, shop assistants and so on all paying their
taxes and contributing to our economy.
The people yearning for a white christian culture! ....well we
all know where that lead us to with Hitler and the Nazis.
We must get rid of this old outdated rediculous idea of white
christian supremacy, we need new blood

We do, Prejudice stems from fear, people are afraid of change
and cling to the past, so often seeing it through rose-tinted
spectacles. On the whole I like the here and now and am pleased
to be living in the UK. Every country has its ups and downs at
different times.

The press and police are hardly going to hunt for this forum,
Blueroses, and nobody says anything actionable, even if
sometimes we don't like, or agree with, what is said.

Children can access education from age 2! They can have 15 hours
per week at nursery schools. School proper starts at 5. They
stay in education til 18. You’d have to work hard to avoid
education!
I do think that in light of what I will call ‘fake facts’, there
is an opportunity for schools to teach about how to find trusted
sources. Even Wikipedia can be a bit dodgy so being able to
navigate the internet for trusted sources is a whole new life
skill.

That's right and after leaving school there are many
opportunities, not only to go on to higher education but for
apprenticeships. Things are really good at the moment for
youngsters.
I do think that in light of what I will call ‘fake facts’, there
is an opportunity for schools to teach about how to find trusted
sources. Even Wikipedia can be a bit dodgy so being able to

A good idea. Everything should be checked and double checked but
a lot of stuff on the internet is obviously invented.

White working class don't try to achieve any higher education.
They quit school as soon as possible , get a job and boast about
the high pay they are making compared to those who stayed on at
school and become clerks or want to become higher paying
accountants which takes time and in which opportunities are
limited.
In the family I have in England, none to my knowledge have been
to university, nor do they show any interest .

I appreciate you are speaking from experience of family,
however, you can’t extrapolate to all. Angela Rayner is white
working class. And she’’s not the best example. There is nothing
wrong with not choosing higher education. Many a worthy life
lived without attending uni.

I didn't want to post any more on this thread tonight but it has
to be said that every child is now in some sort of education
until they are eighteen. If university is not on the cards, and
it is not for most, there are vocational training courses at
local colleges, with day release for work experience, and
apprenticeships which involve some study. The idea is that the
non-academic youngsters have the chance to gain a skill and some
experience, making them employable. Many enjoy that and do very
well.
The days of kids having to leave school at 16 (previously 15
and, before that, 14), and joining the factory assembly line are
over, they have opportunities and receive an allowance.
You have been misinformed.

My brother left grammar school at 15, and before long was
employed by ICI in Huddersfield, using log tables on the night
and day shift to calculate things we have calculators for today.
He was taught how to use logarithms at grammar school and never
forgot it.
My old friend ( who may be dead by now or in a home - I don't
know) stayed on at school . He then because of his two extra
years at school did national service on the RAF, not the Royal
Signals at Catterick camp as I had to do because I left school
at 16 years with my Northern University Board School
certificate, he stayed on and had a much easier time.
He never did get a BA. degree but became a head teacher,
(principal). My BA was achieved in Canada and had nothing to do
with my work, absolutely nothing. It is a 'General' BA, in which
I took subjects like Philosophy, and a little mathematics.
