       Starmer’s government

       I must say I am cautiously impressed with the CVs of the
       line-up. I may not always agree with decisions and views, but
       this Cabinet has real-world life and work experience. They are
       not just career politicians whose knowledge comes from academic
       learning served on the proverbial silver spoon.
       Timpson (prisons)is one of the stand-outs, with his experience
       of running a successful business that will take on ex-offenders,
       thus creating actual opportunities for rehabilitation and
       re-integration in society.
       Another one, for me, is Peter Kyle (business) overcame severe
       dyslexia, has done frontline aid work and is a champion for
       overcoming social exclusion.
