       Write Nothing Personal

       Today, I found that what I had written here was spoken, yes a
       machine was speaking to me, and was reading what I had written
       down on these pages. I could not believe it and immediately
       switched my sound level to zero. If that sort of thing continues
       then I will be very careful what I write and write only this of
       little importance. I was trying to show non Canadians how people
       live here, how they bank, and go about their everyday lives.
       Occasionally, I mention money, stocks and the market.  From now
       on after this speaker was on by methods unknown I will be less
       trusting of high tech having an interest in what I am doing. Ihe
       world has gone mad. I am sane.  It topped eventually when I
       pressed many buttons on this computer, and I shut it off
       completely.

       That's happened to me before now. Bloody annoying - I couldn't
       work out how to switch it off.

       Well, thanks to gwinnie that problem is now more understood. I
       didn't ask for these modern aids to life and high tech should
       not impose them on me.I don't need them as I don't have a job.
       No doubt they are of help to those in certain professions.
       According to Pivot, the CPA magazine I received yesterday by
       mail,The percentage of Canadians  reporting they are angry or
       annoyed by institutions, circumstances and events in November
       2023.* Are listed below:
       70% are upset by latest news stories. 60% by changes happening
       in Canada.
       And women ,59% are angrier than men.... about recent trends,,,I
       will stop there.
       Alberta is the angriest of all Province 63% with Ontario a
       close second, 60%.
