Warm here and beautiful outside. Rained a little yesterday, but
we still need more to end the drought.
"Lanai" is really just a fancy way of saying "porch." :D Our
original house, floor plan labeled the porch a lanai, and the
nook upstairs a library. The latter is actually a library,
though.

Despite the temperature being only 11deg C nearly all day (which
my son considers very cold), it feels quite warm to me, even
close. We had a burst of sunshine earlier but most of the day
has been dark and cloudy. It was raining a little bit around
7am but not for long. A comfortable day.

We've been overcast and a tad cooler (still warm at 77º F at mid
afternoon) today.

We had a frost forecast overnight in some parts of this area,
and at present it is supposed to be 1 degree C. outside. I find
it all hard to believe, but that is the forecast at 6.am. It
will warm up to 6 C, later on in the day, in Toronto.
We expect rain for the next four days.
I understand Madrid , Spain, is having its hottest day ever and
that in Catalonia, farmers have not had decent rain for two
years and that they have cut back their water usage by 40%.

Yesterday, so much hail fell in Melbourne, FL (where I grew up)
that it looked like a winter wonder land. Here's an article with
a picture of the middle school I attended that looks just as if
it had snowed.

One FB old school friend posted a picture of a ruler measuring
six inches of hail in her yard. :o

Pleasant today, reasonably warm at 13degC, going up to 18 in an
hour or so. I'm going nowhere and wish I was :-).

It is dull and miserable outside. It was raining this afternoon,
and more rain is forecast tomorrow,.Nothing to worry about.two
boys were struck by lightning in Fort Worth and are now
recovering. My grandsons are back in Canada, and their Texas
experience is in great demand judging by the comparative
salaries of those who stayed in Canada for the last three years
compared with those who worked in Texas.

Weather seems OK so far but it's early in the morning. The
forecast says it will be warm and sunny with a gentle breeze,
17degC, a bit later. It appears we are going to have a period
of very warm weather.
