Overcast today. A front bringing storms and cooler temps is on
the way. It's been so long since it rained, so the aquifer
likely needs the refill.

We are having a sunny day today with temperatures at about zero.
That is good news as we have had enough snow since I came back
from Florida. Looking out of my tv room window this morning just
before 5a.m. I saw the moon, looking large near the horizon. It
was either the first or last quarter. There wasn't a single star
that I could see anywhere .
That was the view from the picture window where I have a gas
fire on most of the day, and the only tv set I have in the
house. And I only want one tv set.I am happy with one.
What a contrast to the place in Florida which we rented for five
weeks this year. It was a two bedroom place with stairs (16
steps) and six tv sets stuck to the wall
They were short of coat hangers, a tea pot, and down to bare
minimums in cutlery and pots pans and plates. I know because I
rent out a cottage and know what should be there and wasn't.
Still we enjoyed ourselves because of the closeness to the Gulf
of Mexico Sea, and the good weather. Finding the ruddy airport
in Tampa 55 miles away and perhaps missing the plane home was my
biggest headache. There are two or more airports in the Tampa
region.

Cooler here today by about twenty degrees F. Nice day to take a
ride over to the east coast and visit my sister and brother in
law. They have a winter place in Sebastian.

Trump is like a very bad storm, or even worse.
We have light rain and a bit of a breeze today. It isn't cold
now but we had a frost over night.

Wet and windy today but not really cold. I just went out the
front in my socks, not my brightest move but I will live :) .

Still about twenty degrees cooler than usual. Bright and clear
outside, and everything is so green.
