It was very windy late in the night/morning but not bad at all
today so far, 11degC.

Enjoyed the sun on my face these last few days. Evenings are
noticeably lengthening, too.

I can't remember when we last saw a sunrise here in Etobicoke.I
was discussing this over morning coffee. It is dull and gray
outside, And it is 7:30 am. It is warm here for winter, the
temperature being plus 3 or 4 degrees, it varies of course amd
we have no snow. Poor old son James has to use his own tractor
and plough to clean his long driveway, north of here in Erin. He
came here a couple of days ago to see us, straight from work. He
is as fit as a fiddle to look at. He makes sure the horses are
in their shelter each night, where it is nice and warm for them.
He seems happy and content. His wife Erika, works from home.They
have three greyhounds and a sausage dog of 14 years, plus a cat
or two.
I do miss Florida, though.

I expect you do but you also like where you are and can see your
children more regularly.
Not bad out today, I don't know the temperature but the sky is
clear, no rain or wind and it doesn't feel cold. Mind you, I've
been busy and that may be a factor.
